My Founders Story
Hi, my name is Rafe and I am the founder of Brave Blixxies NFT! My journey in the world of NFTs only started back in 2022 - before 2022 I didn't even know what an NFT was, let alone know how to create my own ones! Needless to say, its been a crazy few years, so here's how I ended up creating my own NFT collection... Up until 2022 I had been working in a steady job which I had held for the best part of 20 years. I wasn't actively looking for something new because my job was enough to allow me to help support my young family. In July of 2022 an opportunity presented itself for me to leave my job, and to join established NFT brand 'Cool Cats NFT' as a creative writer. After weighing everything up, I felt that despite knowing very little about the crypto world at the time, it was too good an opportunity to pass up. I decided to leave my job, join the Cool Cats team and start my journey in the world of NFTs. Unfortunately, only after a few months of being with the team, I was let go following an organisational restructure. I no longer had an income. I could no longer help to support my wife Natasha (who at the time was studying to be a nail technician) and our two year old daughter - this landed us in a very difficult situation financially. I attempted to find a new role in the crypto world, but struggled due to lack of experience. I even had great difficulty finding work outside of crypto because my previous work experience was very niche to the role I had been doing in the past, so it felt like employers weren't giving me a chance. I was stuck. I was feeling very dejected and anxious, and then one day I had a 'lightbulb' moment - Why not start my own NFT brand? My time at Cool Cats taught me a great deal about NFTs and digital art, and it gave me great insight in to what is involved in creating an NFT project. I was very inspired by my time with Cool Cats and believed that, using experiences gained whilst I there, I might have a chance of creating something too. After two and half years of hard work and many moments of self-doubt, I am finally at the point where I can share this NFT brand with the world. Now is time for me, Natasha and the rest of the team to start our own journey...and we hope you can join us!

Having previously worked within the NFT space, Rafe’s mission is to create something that blends creativity & collectability, inspiring both new and seasoned NFT collectors alike.

Natasha leads the charge in bringing Brave Blixxies to the world, managing social channels and community engagement. Her energy and creativity help shape the tone of the Blixxi brand, ensuring every message, post, and partnership stays true to the project’s vision.
