Frequently asked questions
An NFT, or non-fungible token, is a unique digital certificate of ownership for an asset, recorded on a blockchain. Unlike fungible items like currency, each NFT is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced on a one-to-one basis. NFTs like Brave Blixxies are used to represent ownership of collective digital artwork, but can also be linked to physical assets.
A Blixxi is a little purple alien from a faraway galaxy and a faraway time. Blixxies come in all different forms, from chefs to warriors, office workers to astronauts and from pirates to wizards. There are five main faction of Blixxi; Settlers, Builders, Battlers, Pilots and Elders. These factions vary in rarity and within each faction, there are various types of Blixxi that again vary in rarity.
Minting is the process of creating a Brave Blixxi NFT on the Ethereum blockchain.
When you click the “Mint” or “Claim” button during our launch, the blockchain permanently records a brand-new Brave Blixxi in your wallet. You become its very first owner, and that NFT will exist forever on-chain.
Pretty much! When you mint a Brave Blixxi, you’re purchasing one directly from the smart contract. Instead of buying a pre-existing token on OpenSea, you’re the one who creates it at that moment and receives it instantly in your wallet.
You connect your Ethereum wallet (like MetaMask) to our website.
You click “Mint” and confirm the transaction.
The Brave Blixxi smart contract creates a unique token with its own ID.
That token is sent straight to your wallet.
Within a few moments, you can see it appear on OpenSea or in your wallet’s NFT tab.
If the collection hasn’t revealed yet, you’ll see the placeholder image until the official reveal date — then your Blixxi’s unique art and traits will appear automatically.
It can take a few minutes (and occasionally up to an hour) for OpenSea to update its cache after your mint. If it still doesn’t appear, open the NFT’s page on OpenSea and click “Refresh metadata.”
Once OpenSea re-indexes it, your Brave Blixxi will show up perfectly.
Yes — every transaction on Ethereum requires a small gas fee paid in ETH to the network. The fee amount depends on blockchain activity at the time. We’ll always communicate mint price and estimated gas before the public launch so you can plan comfortably.
Once your transaction confirms on Ethereum, you’ll see a green checkmark in your wallet and a transaction hash you can view on Etherscan.
That’s your proof of ownership!
Your Brave Blixxi will also appear under your wallet’s NFTs and on OpenSea soon after.
Absolutely — the official Brave Blixxies mint button interacts only with our verified smart contract deployed via ThirdWeb.
We’ll share the contract address publicly so you can double-check it before minting.
Always make sure you’re on the official Brave Blixxies website before connecting your wallet.
